Morton Marcus, an internationally recognized authority on regional economies, taught economics for 33 years at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and is the former Director of the Indiana Business Research Center. He retired from the University in 2003 but continues to write a weekly newspaper column and speak frequently to civic and business groups. He has been an advisor on matters of public policy to six Indiana governors, consulted with businesses across America and lectured at universities in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
